THE PLAN: ========= Last night of dark run. Science, with imaging a priority. SYNOPSIS FOR NIGHT: =================== Our first major snow event of the season. Not a snowball's chance... TELESCOPE STATUS: ================= Stowed at 30 deg alt with the imager mounted. Counterweights at 705. INTERLOCKS: =========== None bypassed SOFTWARE USED: ============== IOP/SOP: v3_19_1 Watcher: v2_8_6 MCP: v4_3_9 TPM: v2_1_2 AstroDa: 14_34 TCC: 2.4.0b2 WEATHER SYNOPSIS (see below for hourly data): ============================================= Snow, snow and snow. We are snowed in. 11 cm on the ground at 17:30. 15 cm by 22:00. 25 cm by 05:00. GENERAL COMMENTS (see Problems below for details): ================================================== Since we have pretty much run through all the tasks that could be done inside the enclosure, there was little left for us to do with the telescope. We did check the health of the imager, spectrographs and telescope. All is well. The rest of the night was spent on documentation and other tasks. We had utility power fluctuations, but the instruments were unaffected. When filling the spectrographs, we tried the stop button again. It still does not work in any mode. We also checked to see if the sensors would automatically stop the fill. They did not. You still have to stop the fill by pulling the plug (sorry, Jon). Remember to vote.
