SYNOPSIS: ========= We did spectroscopy all night, and finished 7 plates, a new record! That's in excess of 4400 spectra!! GENERAL COMMENTS (see Problems below for details): ================================================== A very productive night, and a nice way to finish off the dark run. We had no real problems. The last five plates all used the same calib offsets, with most if not all guide stars showing up in the fibers right after the slew. We needed to jog the rotator a couple times to keep the current from going over the limit. Once at 20:07, and again at 20:30 with the rotator at 67 and 73 degrees mount respectively. A couple of the cartridges did not show guide stars in all fibers. Cartridge 4 was missing stars in fibers 2 and 3. Cartridge 2 had fiber 1 missing. I think some of these are due to fibers known to be broken.
