Instead it was astronomical water torture... clear skies and everything dripping wet with condensing humidity. We never opened. Plate 202 on cartridge 4 is still on the telescope. The imager was turned off tonight and allowed to warm up. The key for the power switch was left in the switch. Nitrogen notes: Both spectrographs were filled at 18:00 and again at about 05:00. The 180 L dewar for the imager was disconnected at about 22:30. It is still about a third full and will be left at the telescope for use filling the spectrographs. WEATHER Weather tonight was mostly clear at sunset and remained clear or mostly clear until about 04:00 when it became foggy. There was condensing humidity all night long ( dewpoint depression -0.1 to 2.2 C ), the remnants of the long soaking rain we had all day. Temperatures were in the mid 40s most of the night. Winds were out of the S at less than 10 MPH most of the night. Seeing tonight was not measured. Dan
