Off equator drift scanning is on tap once the model is completed. Also like recent nights, the weather prevented us from opening tonight. It was mostly clear and humid the first part of the night, but there were storms nearby in nearly every direction. It clouded over and started raining here around midnight. Rain and thundershowers continued for the rest of the night. It looks like the monsoon season has started in earnest about two weeks early. One note regarding weather; the dewpoint sensor was consistently reporting a dewpoint depression between 1.0 and 2.5 C while it was raining, even after it had been raining for over an hour. This seems a little higher than normal for these conditions. We'll try again tomorrow for the pointing model... At least the EC is already on the telescope. Dan
