Winds: ~20 mph steady and gusts up to 25 mph. Low dust (~1500). On tap tonight, using the pointing model from last night for the 2.5m, we wanted to try for spectroscopy. We had to wait out the weather this evening as we had a thunder + hail storm pass through at about 4:30 pm, and this left a lot of residual cloud cover. At 10 pm, there was a start of clearing but a great deal of lightening close to the NW of the observatory. At 11 pm the humidity went through the roof and was at 92% with the dew point difference of 1.2 C. Unfortunately, this high humidity persisted until 4:10 am, when we gave up the try in getting spectroscopy done. We filled the spectrographs with LN2 at 4:15 am and then went to bed.
