                     APACHE POINT OBSERVATORY SDSS 2.5m
                              OBSERVING  LOG
   The enclosure was not opened tonight due to clouds, high winds, and very
high dust counts.  We had another dust storm today with winds in the late
afternoon gusting to over 60 MPH, and dust counts over 1,000,000 particles
per cubic foot.  These conditions remained well over the limit for the
entire night.
