It was clear all night. Winds were 10 to 20 MPH out of the west, and dust counts were around 2000 ( essentially the same as last night ). We immediately set up on the equator and began driftscanning. The telescope was focused. The rotator was moved slightly to improve star images. The majority of the night was spent working on astroline problems and DA glitches while taking driftscan data. A check of CCD alignment using the driftscan data was done as well The telescope was closed up at 05:20 and preparations were made for removing the camera. The tyvek cover was put over the primary so that the camera could be taken off the telescope in daylight. Dan
