ADDENDUMS

ADDENDUM #1

1A. ARC requires Builders Risk insurance in an amount equal to the value of the contract and Liability insurance with limits of $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate.

1B. ARC will use the AIA A101 "Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor - Stipulated Sum (1997)" and AIA A201 "General Conditions of the Contract for Construction (1997)" as a Owner/Contractor agreement. Bidders will submit an AIA A310 "Bid Bond" document or equivalent with their bid. Most of the information generally included on the AIA A305 "Contractor's Qualification Statement" we've included in our bid form so A305 is optional. The successful general contractor will need to submit AIA A312 "Performance Bond and Payment Bond" documents shortly after the award. For reference, see sample AIA documents A101, A201, A305, A310 and A312.

1C. In the “Request for Bids” document, 07/25/07, the last sentence on page 2 should be revised from, “Retention will be ten percent (15%).” to “Retention will be ten percent (10%).
